Demo (alpha-0.0.70) Changelog


Changes

  • Added Stamina stat. It is now required for dodge, dash/dash attack and air kick attacks. This is to avoid spamming dash or air moves. It also requires you to balance it with being able to dodge vs doing damage or knockdowns. The stamina pool is small and has a delay before it will recharge but it does so quickly. A new UI element has been added to track stamina usage and cooldown.
  • Add consistent jump minimum height so air kick attack can always be triggered (so long as you are not falling or have no stamina).
  • Changed Fatality attack to use a single, remappable button (defaults to keyboard=F, Gamepad=Button East)
  • Changed health pickups to no longer require interaction to use. Just walking over them will now consume it.
  • Level
    • Minor visual updates and colliders added to stop enemies passing through them
  • Enemies:
    • "Brute" now has an air counter move.
    • "Giant" mini boss had a slight re-work and now uses blocking. He now has a color change “tell” when he becomes invulnerable and cannot be damaged
    • Some enemies will now perform an attack when first being spawned into a wave
  • UI
    • Updated design (WIP)
    • Added confirm prompts for some in-game menu options

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where dash could cause movement to get stuck
  • Fixed issues with ps4 gamepad and add missing icons
  • Fixed a bug where some enemies could get stuck if pushes of the walkable area
  • Fixed a UI bug where the health was not displayed correctly when changing scenes
