Alpha-0.1.1 Change Log
- Added Fatality progression system
- Player can now unlock bonuses that will unlock by performing fatality attacks
- Some bonuses are passive and others are short term effects (defense/attack etc) that will apply for 10 seconds after a fatality attack is used
- Each fatality level will unlock a new fatality attack
- Improved fatality VFX/audio and added decapitation for some fatality attacks
- Improved enemy idle/approach/attacking AI
- Enemies that can approach but don’t have permission to attack will try and stand a little further from the player making it a little easier to read when they do try and attack
- Enemies will try to spread a little better around the player
- Non attacking (approaching/waiting) enemies will occasionally play animations
- Fixed an issue where the number of simultaneous allowed could be bypassed.
- Fixed aiming issues with ranged enemies so they will hit the player more accurately. NOTE: There is still some randomization in aim and it will vary based on the enemy type
- Improved death ragdolls for enemies
- Added Armor stat
- Armored enemies will have a chance to absorb damage from an attack and will not be hitstun when they do so
- Armor is finite so once it is depleted it will not regenerate.
- NOTE: The demo does not contain any armored units as it will be reserved for mid-late game enemies
- Player damage and enemy health values have been re-scaled
- Light/heavy attack damage was doubled
- Enemy health was doubled
- AOE attacks/Dash Attack/Kick (knockdown) attacks now do less damage
- Dash attack input has changed to use a directional double tap + light attack. This was done to ensure dodge can be used consistently instead of triggering a dash attack if used quickly after a light attack
- Stamina is now only used for Dash and Jump attacks. It was removed for dodge/dash.
- Replaced the existing camera system (with cinemachine). The new system allows for more precise control over camera movement. It also simplifies the setup of new levels and will allow for seamless cutscene transitions.
- Several bug fixes and other behind the scene improvements to help with new level setup
